Poros

Poros is an island in the Saronic Gulf, very close to Athens, covered in pine forests from end to end. It consists of two smaller islands, Sfairia (which houses the capital and port) and Kalavria, connected by a small canal. Other notable settlements worth staying in include Askeli, Kanali, Neorio, and Perlia.

Although it is a small island, Poros has several beaches, most of which are easily accessible. Some of the most popular ones include Askeli, Vagionia, Monastiri, Love Bay, Neorio, Kalypso, Kanali and the Russian Dockyard.
