Paxos

Paxos or Paxi is an island in the Ionian Sea. Its capital and main port is Gaios. To the north lies the fishing village of Lakka, while Loggos is the third settlement on the island, from where boats depart for Antipaxos.

The entire island is lush with pine and olive trees, which reach all the way to the shores. The beaches are small, with crystal-clear waters. Some of the most notable ones include Erimitis, Orkos, Kipiadis, Kaki Lagkada, Monodendri, Levrehio, Marmari, and Galazio. Boats also run daily trips to Antipaxos, home to two dreamlike beaches with turquoise waters, Voutoumi and Vrika.
