Naxos

Naxos is the largest and most fertile island of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea with Chora as its capital.

Naxos is famous for its beaches, its beautiful mountain villages but also for its amazing food and especially for its potatoes, the most famous product of the island, which is why the "Potato Festival" is organized every September.

Naxos, unlike the rest of the islands of the Cyclades, has high mountains with picturesque villages such as Apeiranthos, Chalki, Filoti, Koronos and Apollonas.

Due to its long coastline, Naxos has many beaches and all of them unique. The most characteristic are Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna, Agios Georgios, Plaka, Mikri Vigla, Kastraki, Agiassos and Alykos a wild beach with a wonderful cedar forest as a background.
