Milos
Milos is the southwesternmost island of the Cyclades. It is considered the island with the most beautiful beaches in the Aegean Sea, boasting more than 70 in total. The capital is Plaka, and the main port is Adamas. The island is home to many charming settlements, such as Zephyria, Pollonia, and Klima, a small fishing village with colorful houses known as "syrmata", where fishermen store their boats during the winter. Other similar fishing villages include Mandrakia, Fyropotamos, and Fourkovouni.
Milos is famous for its breathtaking, moon-like landscapes, with beaches such as Sarakiniko, Kleftiko with its impressive rock formations and turquoise waters, Tsigrado, Papafragas, Paliochori and Fyriplaka.
