Ios

Ios is an island of the Cyclades in the Aegean Sea, between Naxos, Santorini and Sikinos.

Ios is considered one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades and the entire Aegean and is famous for its enchanting beaches.

The capital is Chora, built amphitheatrically on a hill where the ruins of a medieval castle dominate the top. All the settlements of the island have easy access and the advantage is the short distances between them. The best known are Mylopotas, Magganari, Limani, Psathi and Agia Theodoti.

The beaches are all with blue-green crystal waters, you don't know which one to choose first. Mylopotas, the most famous, is also the starting point to explore the most remote by renting a boat to Tripiti, Pikros Nero, Klima, Manousou and Sapunochoma.

Magganari, also in a W shape, is considered perhaps the most beautiful of the island, as are Mylopotas, Agia Theodoti, Gialos, Loretzaina, Psathi and Kalamos. Finally, Koumbara is the most famous beach on Instagram, which has been awarded a Blue Flag.
