Agistri

Agistri is an island in the Saronic Gulf, near Aegina and just 55 minutes from Piraeus by flying dolphin. The island is characterized by its lush pine forests and numerous beaches, all with crystal-clear waters.

The island’s capital is Megalochori, and it has two other villages: Skala and Limenaria, the latter being considered the most picturesque village on the island. Limenaria is known for its stone houses that emerge from a landscape of pine trees, cypresses, and olive trees.

Some of the most notable beaches are Skala, Aponisos, Mikri and Megali Dragonera, Megalochori, and Xekofti. For more secluded beaches, one can explore the areas of Limni Aponisou, Magiza, Bariama and Mariza.
